Created in 1984 by Vincent Fonvieille et Gislaine Boulech as well as a circle of lovers of hiking and of the Pyrenees, La Balaguère has always worked as a team.

A team which from the offices to the terrain knows that human merit and personality are just as important as technical skills.

It’s this team spirit which has always made La Balaguère work, breathing in energy and creativity, which has helped it to get over problems and face up to itself, and which today makes La Balaguère a dynamically growing company.

It’s in Arrens-Marsous, a little village lost in the Val d’Azun, that La Balaguère has been thinking up, organizing and coordinating its holidays, treks and trips for the last 18 years.

Spilling out far beyond the mountains, our hikes have taken us today to the far end of the World. But Arrens and the Val d’Azun still remain the heart of the company.
